Ex oratory Madonna degli AngeliScarlino (GR)
The projects objective was rehabilitate the old Priory for use as the Regional Museum and house material from the Historic Municipal Archives now in the State Archives in Grosseto, as well as to use the former church as a venue for conferences and study conventions as well as exhibitions and performances. In in-depth geological and geognostic investigation of the area was carried out, followed by a land survey, to help with the planning – of structural works in particular – and to preclude the risk of any archaeological remains.

- The complex, which consists of the ruins of the church and the adjacent Augustinian priory of the Madonna degli Angeli stands at the foot of the Rocca di Scarlino, on the road that leads from Porta Senese to the ancient village Springs and thence to Gavorrano.
