Abstract:
The Hospital building concerned in the intervention was built in 1936-38 as an isolation ward for tuberculosis patients at the San Salvi Asylum. The three storey block has an “E” shaped form with the main façade facing south and measuring approximately 9,300 m³ is located in an area immediately adjacent to the existing hospital complex.
